Dreams and Opportunities

May the sunlight today shower the darkness with its glimmering beam
And make the enmeshed opportunities clear to me
They say the world is a rising star
Alas, I grope for the rudiments of glow.

The value of this mere term “Opportunity” can only be discerned by an individual who had always dreamt about it but never practiced it.  Hard work is much more important than talent and opportunities are even more.

In this blind race with the west we eschewed the rudiments of our forte and denounce all the possibilities of rise. There are many talents which are deprived of education due to the dearth of finance or lack of understanding.

Marketing wizard, Suhel Seth in a convocation held by Rai University expressed his desolation by the fact that India has not done enough to educate its people. He said, “Poverty is not an important issue but the denial of opportunity.”

Education, like food, water and air is a basic need for human life and growing. And we must accept the fact that denying or depriving people from education and learning is an enormous disservice to humanity.

There is a Sachin in every lane, Sharukh in every audience and Picasso in every viewer.  The thing which makes them just an audience not the artist is the repressed opportunities.  Talent without opportunities sweeps and disappears with the last tick of clock. Art can easily be turned into craft with the avail of opportunities which we are lacking right now.  Suhel further added, “We as a nation are at an inflection point. We are eroding a value architecture, we are eroding the morals of society and I think when societies deny opportunities that empower people either from a knowledge perspective or from an economic perspective they not only deny the opportunity but the entire growth of an individual.” One secret of success in life is for a man to be ready for his opportunity when it comes and also making opportunities for the rest.
“Not knowing when the dawn will come I open every door.”

With every new morning there is a rise of hope in those twinkling eyes ready to make their dreams into reality and for them rising opportunities are like blessing.
